The range of treatments and therapies in Alternative Medicine is expanding these days as communication between cultures increases and the "old ways" are being rediscovered. This dictionary, written in 1998, gives a comprehensive listing of terms used in these new therapies with clear and concise descriptions. Well worth reading.

Birds and Animals this month. What's so great about a list of bird names? Well I do like things out of the ordinary and it is not very often you see subject specific translating glossaries in the Asian languages. So Oriental Twitchers Rejoice for here you will find hundreds of bird names in three East Asian languages. Happy birdwatching!

And in the "Small can be good" department, I came across this small yet very useful Glossary of Market Research Terms from an Asian Market Research company. Although the number of terms is yet small, the explanations are excellent, providing a clear and detailed understanding of the major processes undertaken in this service industry. I have spoken with the author of this glossary and by all indications this is one worth keeping an eye on for future developments.
